All of us realize that global warming is occurring on our planet, but very little of us understand the implications that this may have on our way of life. These rising global temperatures... which i know everyone has been like DAM whats up with our weather... are going to cause a so many changes on our planet, and we need to act now or prepare to adjust to some very profound changes.
First, these rising temperatures present a huge threat to our ice-caps. Layers of ice that have not melted for thousands of years are beginning to break apart and fall into the ocean. One of the biggest ice sheets on the planet, located on Greenland, is at a great risk of splitting apart and falling into the ocean. While it doesn't sound like too big of a deal, the loss of the Greenland ice sheet will cause catastrophic circumstances world wide. The world's sea level is expected to rise as much as 23 feet when the sheet falls, and that spells disaster for the coastal cities that represent some of the largest and most important centers of trade and commerce ( shit yall saw what happened with 9/11 messed every one up financially) across the planet. Manhattan would be sunk (now you know this is some crazy shit even manhattan, i live too dam close) ; much of Florida would be underwater, and that's not even to mention the worldwide consequences. Every area of the globe would be affected by this rising of sea levels, and the disaster caused would make hurricane damage seem like a blessing( hurricane damage; a blessing. umm does KATRINA ring a bell and this would be a blessing compared to what we face if we dont do something about global warming). Millions of people from the coastal cities (where im from and most people i know are from) will be without home or workplace; it would be one of the hugest human issues ever faced in our history. The changing of the climate could also affect a host of circumstances on our planet; crop yields can be affected by the rising temperatures, which would also pose significant problems to a planet of refugees. Much of the land may become barren due to the effects of temperature change, and we may find some of our most arable lands subject to the effects of soil erosion, and eventually, a transition into desert land. Also, water supplies, forests, and plant and animal life would be affected by the planet's changes, and we may not be able to see how significant these changes may affect our lives until they are already upon us exactly why WE all need to participate in fighint GLOBAL WARMING. For that reason, it's important that we increase our knowledge of global warming, and do our best to prevent it in the coming years. While it may have bad affects on our economy( ya dam money) and our way of life, we owe it to our children to give them a peaceful, safe planet to grow up in.
SO after all of that being said here are tips that you can do to avoid GLOBAL WARMING. If you know more than please ... please comment giving everyone more tips on saving our planet!!

-When buying electronic equipment, look for the ENERGY STAR label. These devices limit the use of power, thereby allowing you to cut consumption at least a little bit. Computers, fax machines, copy machines, and various other pieces of home office equipment can be found that are ENERGY STAR compliant.
-Insulating your home can both reduce your energy bill and help the planet by using less power.
-Fluorescent lights or ENERGY STAR lights can be purchased to bring down your electricity need.
-Use low flow faucets in both your shower and your sink. If you can't purchase a new toilet, placing a brick in the back of your toilet tank can cut down on the amount of water used in your toilet, saving water.When relocating, try to find a job close to your home. The very act of commuting is one of the biggest problems with global warming that we face, with suburban employees making hour-long commutes, draining our planet's oil supply and increasing greenhouse emissions. By carpooling 2 days a week, you can cut your greenhouse emissions by 1,590 pounds per year!
-When purchasing a new vehicle, look for one with a high miles-per-gallon rating. Hybrids are ideal, but any car that consumes less gas is recommended.

TIME IS PRICELESS

Time is taken for granted by everyone, I believe at some point in their life. As of now and I guess as of always timing is everything. I realize that more than ever now that im growing up. Think about it, when you want a job they dont need you because of various reasons at least thats what they say. And when something else comes along and you take it ... "oh the job has an opening" Your like well shit now i dont need it. I would love to have it but umm, yea, I had no choice but to take what I was given at that particular time. When you need something (think anything) the most it's never available. Once you've forgotten about it and not stressing it anymore "what" (gasp) there it is all in your face dangeling. The most annoying is when

L-O-V-E comes your way and the timing is off. Now you dont have to be in love but you may meet someone who definately has potential. Either he has a girlfriend or he has other priorties and of course you are free. As time moves on cause it waits for noone your prince charming or princess is long gone and each of you has lost out, sometimes w/o even knowing. I.E when two people are in a relationship and one of themis in love, the other is caring, loving and intrested but not in love. As time goes on usually the tables turn and the man/woman who was in love first has "lost contact with love" and the other who was chilling has fell in love. Now the timing is off and the two may have been the best couple ever if timing was in sync. But every one has an "AGENDA" (nesha) and time moves on. A DEADLY SIN

So I have a lover.... PROCRASTINATION is his name. If loving him is wrong then i don't want to be right (LOL). For some reason I seem not to be able to do my damn work on time, UNLESS it has to do with my career like for an internship or ect. School forget about it I think I work well under pressure. If your a procrastinator then you can definitely relate.
*Now if your paper is due on the 16th of May and u found out the 15th of April but you don't even start the dam paper till the night before it is due then yea your a procrastinator.
*If you wait to do your laundry (not you July)LOL ... to the last minute and find yourself losing out on time for something else you had to do then yea your a procrastinator.
*If you never have time to do your "TO DO" list because you find yourself lingering around laughing, talking with comadres', or handling ummm ...yea u get my drift, then yea your a procrstinator.
* if you KNOW your a procratinator and you can admit it then yea your a procrastinator!
*Last but not least if your laughing while reading this cause you know its the truth!!!!! Then yea your a procratinator

CLUB AVALON

Ok so this is my best friend and I at a party at Club Avalon. The club is really big and really nice and diverse. Listen the club is cool but hardly easy to get into. I defenitly had my drivers license, which they checked with a scanner. No they were NOT playing. No kudos do the security gaurd who marked our hands with the largest X ever lol. Now yall know my "I like to get Neatly Twisted " ass was washing like crazy in the bathroom until it came off, DAM it sucks to be 20. So close but yet so FAR. Since im a FLIRT and a CUTIE a handsome young man bought me a few drinks and didnt even expect anything. (he was such a gentleman). Definately go to check the club out your gauranteed to have a good time!!

WoW I finally created a BLOG

Wow I finally made the time to create a blog ... which for some reason seemed oh so very hard to do (chuckle).
